OMV participates in an additional exploration license in Norway

OMV strengthens its exploration and production position in the core region Northwestern Europe . The Austrian company acquired the sixth exploration license on the Norwegian continental shelf by purchasing 30 % interest in exploration license PL 301CS, situated in the Norwegian Sea. The shares were bought from the Canadian company Talisman and the Danish DONG.
